Trail Description Winterfrost Farms is pleased to announce its new location at Skyline Stables in Radford, VA! We are located on a beautiful 431 acre farm just minutes from I-81 and downtown Radford University, and only 20 minutes from Virginia Tech! We offer 1, 2 and 3 hour trail rides on all sorts of terrain types that weave through woods and open pastures offering breathtaking views of the scenic blue ridge mountain countryside! Longer trail rides allow guests to take horses across creeks and down to the New River for some splashing and fun! The best part? You are riding with rescue horses who at one point in their lives were unwanted or abused. We have rehabilitated these animals into the bombproof herd members they are today and put them to work, earning their keep as trail horses. So what are you waiting for? Saddle Up, Save a horse, and Ride-A-Rescue!!!
